COVID-19

We all have a role to play to prevent, to our best ability, the spread of this disease. The physicians and staff at Pediatrics, P.C. are taking great care to closely follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other healthcare authorities regarding the coronavirus pandemic.

Per the CDC’s guidelines, we recommend that everyone who enters our office to wear a face mask. You will also be asked when scheduling appointments and entering the office if you or your child has been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or if anyone in the family currently has any flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, body aches, or shortness of breath. If the answer is yes, we ask that you remain in your car and call to notify us of your arrival so we can take appropriate precautions. We are requiring that all patient with wear a mask while in our office.

The office is being cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. We still recommend that children be seen for their well checks, especially if they are in need of vaccinations.

If you feel that you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance in this challenging time. We want our entire community to stay safe and stay well!

In-House Testing

In order to better meet the needs of our families and the community, we offer same day, in-house COVID testing.  We highly recommend that you contact your insurance company prior to your visit. Due to nationwide shortages in testing supplies, in-house testing may be limited at times.
